Too Close to the Falls is an exquisite, haunting return, through time and memory, to the heart of Catherine Gildiner's childhood.

Sorry, there is an error in the previous message. I eant to say 1950’s not 1050. Of course, the world has changed somewhat since 1050….. ;-)
Everyone in our book group loved this book although some of us found it a little fantastical in parts – for a memoir… If you want a good laugh and a great discussion on how much Canada’s world has changed since the 1050’s pick up this book and read it!
